I am having the same problem and PROFSAVE_profile was 0 here and not solved.
I think the problem is related to upgrading the video card.
My video card AMD RADEON 6570 is not compatible with Windows 10

I have replaced my 2 x ROG Matrix to ASUS Strix GTX 980 TI OC and the Mantle-thing F´up everything
Now I can play BF4 again

How do I fix this one? Because all I want to do is play BF4. I recently went from BF4 vanilla to BF4 Premium. Would I need to uninstall the game and reinstall said game?

Playing BF on 2x R9 290 (yes, I know it’s 2019, but I’m too poor to upgrade).
I had to use Mantle API since DirectX keeps crashing when I use thermal vision during gameplay.
Mantle proved to be stable.
After updating Win10 to version 1903 and AMD drivers to 19.5.2, I get the following error when I try to launch BF4:

Если у Вас игра установлена через Стим, тогда просто зайдите в список игр и нажмите правой кнопкой мыши на ярлыке и перейдя на вкладку Общие нужно клацнуть на Установить параметры запуска и записать параметры.
В других случаях, можно просто клацнуть на ярлыке игры ПКМ, на вкладке Ярлык найти строку Объект и в конце строки сделать пробел, поставить прямой слеш / и записать выше указанные параметры.
