[FIX] Windows 10 and Asus G750JS Realtek MaxxAudio [How to Get it!]

Is really easy to get it.
Let me explain.

In my case with my G750JS.
1є Download the lastest Asus Realtek HD Audio Drivers (200Mb): Audio_Realtek_Win81_64_VER6017469.zip (This is the last version available for G750JS)
2є Make sure your Laptop is in Airplane Mode (this prevent Windwos 10 for reinstall the new driver during reinstalation of the old driver).
3є Unpack the ZIP file to a temp folder in C:\ (for exmaple Downloads folder).
4є Run the Setup.exe file inside the unpacked folder.
5є Your driver will uninstall the New drivers, after uninstall the setup ask for a reset.
6є After restart of Windows (login in your windows) the Realtek will continue with the setup installing the old driver.
7є When the installation complete, need another Reset, let it.
8є When restart complete and you login again in your Windows 10, you can see the new icon in the desktop (AudioWizard).
9є Open Search bar and search for Realtek, open the Realtek Audio Admin
10є Check if the Audio Wizzard Launch icon appears in Realtek Audio Admin, Open it and check if MaxxAudio Works. If not works, go back to point 2.
11є If all works and not problems, now open Computer Management (Windows+X), and Device Manager, under Sound, Video and game controllers Right Click on Realtek High Definition Audio, and select Update Drivers, Select Automatic. Windows 10 begins to download the new driver, after complete and installed, restart your Computer.
12є Now. you have MaxxAudio and lastest Realtek Audio Drivers with DirectX12.

One trick.
If you wants a really good Audio in your Asus Gaming Laptop. try this

Configure your speakers to this options:

In Maxx Audio:
Select SoundScape, and put the values like my picture.

In Realtek Audio control pannnel:
Loudness Equalization: ON
Equalizer to Direct.

we need to make a new thread for the maxxaudio sound settings , where we all can share our settings.
I find yours abit to loud on the voice, but i will try mix and see if it beats my current settings

When I try to open AudioWizard it saysn «MaxxAudio processes internal speakers output only», and all the options are greyed out. It happens with or without headphones plugged in.

(Before it worked either way)

and if its not working and probably not .. install driver booster fixed maxxaudio for me with dx12

It work . only for the speakers and audio Jack

The Bluetooth it now has a quality so poor that sounds like a speaker under water . and now is not just my bluetooth headset is my speaker too .

well at least i can use the Auxiliary audio jack that came with it but i need help .

hey guys, I have same problem with my G750jw.
I try your fix but the window of MaxxAudio is white with text «MaxxAudio processes iternal speakers output only».

Waves MaxxAudio Deleted After Windows 10 Upgrade

Hey everyone, I just upgraded from windows 8.1 to windows 10. After about 2 minutes of exploring I realize the MaxxAudio application is no longer on my computer. I have an Asus G750 JW and I would really appreciate it if you could help me out!

Download the latest Win10 Realtek audio driver version 6.0.1.7548 from Asus here.

The «Waves MaxxAudio» EQ/Software is included in the driverset.

Just curious, but why install an incompatible Win8.1 driverset when Win10 compatible drivers are available?

same procedure for every model just download the driver for your model from the download page for your laptop

download the W10 audio driver for 750jw do not install yet then go to device manager in «Sound Video Game controllers», uninstall the realtek audio driver , then install the 750jw driver u downloaded

maxx audio app issues

I’ve tried everithing, even driver booster still can’t launch maxx audio on my Asus R501VB.
any ideas?

download the file u want to install to your desktop do not install yet disconnect from internet if u have W10 because during one of these steps
W10 may install an unwanted driver then
go to run type , temp , delete the files from the temp folder some will not delete ignor those then in run type , %temp% , delete those files , some will not delete ignor those. then go to device manager find , sound video game controllers , open by clicking on > find Realtek High Defination Audio click it then right click it uninstall it then install the Realtek Driver u downloaded. I also sent u a PM

MaxxAudio not working in Windows 10

I have a problem with MaxxAudio in my system. I am using Windows 10 Pro insider preview build 10074. Sadly few weeks back, MaxxaAudio stopped working. Precisely it works, I can open it through Windows Start or through Realtek HD Audio, but it opens just a blank window. like this:

I tried numerous versions of Audio drivers, both from Asus website or Realtek website, sadly none of them works. It’s annoy because I was used to change my audio settings through it and now when I don’t use external speakers or headset, the sound from laptop speakers is terrible and the internal subwoofer is practically not working or it’s really quiet. 🙁

So I am just wondering if somebody, who is also using Windows 10 had or have same issue as me.

Even in Windows 8.1? I wanted to switch back to Windows 8.1 because of this (and because Nvidia have newer drivers for Windows 8.1) 🙁

I had the same problem until I CLEAN INSTALLED 10122. Maxxaudio now works. if only HDMI audio would work. next build.

Thx man! I will try it right now, hope it’ll work.. anyway I’ll probably go back to Windows 8.1, after my new SSD arrive. Mostly because Nvidia is doing drivers mostly for Win 8.1 and I want to try if the peformance in games (mainly in Witcher 3) will be better in W8.1 then in W10.

i just updated to windows 10 build 10240 and i have this problem too. i wanted to ask if MaxxAudio continued to work, after the clean install and with the current build. Thanks, previously, for your answers 🙂

Waves MaxxAudio что это за программа?

Всем привет Что-то я тут такое нашел интересное, а я даже об этом и не слышал. Это я имею ввиду программу Waves MaxxAudio, которую можно встретить на ноутбуках. Данная прога нужна типа для улучшения звука, типа, потому что к подобным прогам я как-то скептически отношусь. Ну как можно программно улучшить звук? Можно компенсировать какие-то недостатки при помощи уменьшения громкости и увеличении определенных частот, но вот именно улучшить характеристики звучания, то думаю это нереально

Также вот читаю, что в современных ноутбуках уже четвертое поколение используется Waves MaxxAudio, вот так. При использовании Waves MaxxAudio низкие частоты будут более выразительными, а высокие более четкими. Данную прогу можно вот встретить например на ноуте Dell Precision M3800

Вот как выглядит Waves MaxxAudio:

Ну да, внешний вид стильный и приятный, тут спору нет. Однако это не всегда говорит о качестве звука..

А вот эта картинка, то здесь уже идут настройки Waves MaxxAudio:

Значит слева видим что есть в проге эквалайзер, настройка динамиков (колонок). Также видим справа меню Preset, это означает что есть какие-то заготовки звучания. Ну и конечно можно все вручную настроить, для этого нужно двигать ползунки, вот можно уровень MaxxBass изменить, это вроде басс, также есть и MaxxTreble, это уже вроде высокие частоты. Ну и еще там есть настройки, в общем интересно, но все равно думаю что например плеер Aimp с эквалайзером ничем не хуже..

Кстати на картинке выше видите надпись Dell Audio by Realtek? Ну вот это означает что прога стоит на ноуте Dell и что сама прога это типа надстройка над звуковым чипом Realtek. Сам чип хорош, спору нет, он дешевый. Но дешевизна и качество вещи несовместимые, поэтому больше выжать из Realtek, чем он может дать, то мне кажется это нереальным..

Еще настройки, смотрите:

Тут видим что есть регулятор громкости, микрофона, внизу еще какие-то фирменные штуки..

В принципе ребята стоит признать, что в плане дизайна вопросов к MaxxAudio нет, все сделано хорошо и стильно, да и удобно
