How to Install Drivers

Once you download your new driver, then you need to install it. To install a driver in Windows, you will need to use a built-in utility called Device Manager. It allows you to see all of the devices recognized by your system, and the drivers associated with them.

Open Device Manager

Install Drivers With Device Manager

Locate the device and model that is having the issue and double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

Select the Driver tab.

Click the Update Driver button and follow the instructions.

I Cannot Find the ASIO Driver for My TRAKTOR KONTROL S2 MK3 / S4 MK3 / S3 (Windows)

Symptom

After the installation of TRAKTOR PRO 3 and setting up the TRAKTOR KONTROL S2 MK3 / S4 MK3 / S3 controller, you hear no sound when playing a track and cannot select an ASIO driver in TRAKTOR’s preferences.

Cause

Unlike former TRAKTOR controllers, the S2 MK3 / S4 MK3 / S3 uses Windows’ own ‘WASAPI (Exclusive)’ driver. In order to be able to use this WASAPI driver, the latest Windows 10 update (64-bit) needs to be installed.

Solution

1. Install the latest update for Windows 10 (64-bit). You can find this option in:
   Settings > Updates & security > Windows Update > Check for Updates
2. Connect your S2 MK3 /S4 MK3 / S3 and start TRAKTOR PRO 3.
3. Open Preferences >Audio Setup
4. Click the drop down menu next to Audio Device and select:
   Traktor Kontrol S2 MK3 (WASAPI (Exclusive Mode)) or
   Traktor Kontrol S4 MK3 (WASAPI (Exclusive Mode)) or
   Traktor Kontrol S3 (WASAPI (Exclusive Mode))
   or

Now the TRAKTOR KONTROL S2 MK3 / S4 MK3 / S3 should work as expected.

Note: If you are experiencing high latency with your TRAKTOR KONTROL S2 MK3 / S4 MK3, you can try to reduce it by installing the ASIO driver. You can find the driver installer here:

• C:\ > Programs > Native Instruments > Traktor Pro 3 > Drivers

After the installation you can select the ASIO driver in TRAKTOR’s Preferences > Audio Setup.

TRAKTOR KONTROL S4 Troubleshooting Guide

There are three different TRAKTOR KONTROL S4 models: The first-generation TRAKTOR KONTROL S4 Mk1, the second-generation TRAKTOR KONTROL S4 Mk2 (both out of production) and the TRAKTOR KONTROL S4 Mk3. View the pictures below to identify your model.

Using TRAKTOR KONTROL S4 with TRAKTOR DJ on iOS

Note: Only the TRAKTOR KONTROL S4 Mk2 model offers integration with TRAKTOR DJ on an iOS device.

If you are experiencing problems with your TRAKTOR KONTROL S4 MK2 in TRAKTOR DJ, or if your TRAKTOR KONTROL S4 MK2 is not being recognized by the iOS device, please verify the following:

• Install the latest firmware update for your TRAKTOR KONTROL S4 MK2 as explained in this article.
• Make sure that you are using the right components in order to connect your TRAKTOR KONTROL S4 MK2 to the iOS device as explained in the article How to Connect your NI Controller / Audio Interface to an iOS Device

Audio Device: Traktor Kontrol S2 (not connected)

Люди, давно я себя не чувствовал такой бездарностью. Помогайте!

Приобрёл Traktor Kontrol S2, поставил софт, активировал. Запитал его к ноуту и в сеть. А сигнал на выход, на уши получить не могу. В настройках — Adudio Device: Traktor Kontrol S2 (not connected). Если выбираю: ASIO4ALL или ноутовские дрова, то сам контроллер функционирует, но со звуком, ясно, проблема остаётся.

И ещё на панели мигает восклицательный знак в треугольнике.

Пошёл копать дальше, но всё же надеюсь на вашу помощь!

На 7-ке, благодаря знакомому программеру, я решил этот вопрос =)) А то было уже собрался сносить и ставить XP.

А вот с тех. поддержкой с 16-го числа веду переписку, они так ничего дельного не посоветовали. Вот и сегодня пришло что-то на ящик. Надо будет прочесть ради интереса, что ещё предлагают :))

1) Всё генит. Ой, извините. Всё гениальное — просто.

Клацаем правой кнопкой по «Traktor Kontrol S2 Driver.exe» >>> Свойства >>> Совместимость >>> Ставим галку «Запустить программу в режиме совместимости с» >>> Выбираем «Windows XP (SP3)» >>> Применить (OK) >>> Запускаем экзешник и ставим дрова.
В процессе установки, вероятно, будут сообщения в роде: «Доверять, Не доверять». Выбираем, конечно же, «Доверять».

2) Уверен, что неважно, какая семёрка установлена. Тема сработает в любом случае.

3) Саппорт так ничего со своей стороны и не посоветовал толкового. Снова пришли советы, которые даже выполнить нереально, т.к. я им объяснял, что устройства не видно, а они мне, мол, диагностику устройства сделай :))

Также у меня появились ещё некоторые соображения, что можно предпринять в данной ситуации. Если данная комбинация окажется положительной, напишу.

Хотя выше изложенный мануал должен работать при любых погодных условиях. В противном случае, просьба отписываться в теме.
