for me was the solution to run this commands as admin:

netsh interface ipv6 6to4 set state disabled default
netsh interface ipv6 isatap set state disabled
netsh interface ipv6 set teredo disabled

(Windows 7 32bit)

If I helped, press «thanks» and «reputation». Thanks!

enter new keys , job done, this is how i do it when i have cloned hdd .

I had the same problem WIN 32 bit, tried everything suggested in this post and some others.
Here is what finally fixed my problem.
I guess using the drive in different laptops installed different WiFi and Ethernet drivers and just erasing them out of system does not do it.
I looked up the ID and version of my ethernet and WiFi cards in Network settings and then opened registry editor
followed this key

each key 0001 0002 and so on, contains a DeviceDesc and a value with your device ID something like Intel Centrino.

I erased all the ones pointing to a unused cards, some wher in der 3 times. Then reinstalled WiFi, rebooted and now it works.

hope this helps
Peter

Works for Win 7 as well.

Some of the hidden devices may remain after uninstalling them, but go through each anyway. If your run ipconfig /all from the cmd line, you will see all the devices loaded. You may be able to identify which are the culprit hidden devices from that list. Or just uninstall all to be sure.

Fix for EWA net Unknown LAN ID

This has been covered elsewhere, but I thought I would post what I found to work. I am using Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 64bit, but this fix will probably work on any version of Windows.

  1. In Device Manager , select View and Show hidden devices from the menu bar.
  2. Expand Network adapters and uninstall all instances of Microsoft ISATAP Adapter .
  3. Launch EWA , log in, and check that your programs are showing.

If you are still having the Unknown LAN ID show up, go back and uninstall all of the hidden network adapter devices. In my case the Microsoft ISATAP Adapters kept coming back after restarting the computer; what I had to do is to go to the command prompt (.CMD) (right click and run as admin.) and type.
netsh int teredo set state disabled
netsh int 6to4 set state disabled
netsh int isatap set state disabled

(one at the time of course) And they didn’t come back!
